The world’s tallest sandstone castle is 16.68 meters tall and is located in the German city of Duisburg.
A German travel agency organized a castle building, which provided 3500 tons of sand at a former steel plant in Duisburg.
DPA reports that Jack Brockbank, a Guinness representative, confirmed today that it was a record. So far, the title had a 14.84 meter castle in India.
The sandy castle in Duisburg is decorated with sand models of the Acropolis of Athens, the Sagrada Familia Family in Barcelona and the Curve Tower in Pisa.
Tourists will have the opportunity to see this masterpiece until September 24th.
